Privacy notice

Last updated: 17 August 2026

This notice explains the main categories of data processed when you use the Synthetic Markets Binary Bot. The application is operated by Synthetic Markets (Pty) Ltd as an independent software provider.

Broker authorization and account data

When you choose to log in, authentication takes place on Deriv's website through OAuth. The application receives authorization needed to perform the actions you approve. The current login flow stores broker access credentials in an encrypted, HttpOnly session cookie and uses them on the server to communicate with Deriv. The browser receives session-style account references for compatibility with the visual builder.

Account identifiers, balances, currency, market information, proposals, purchases, open-contract updates, and related trading responses may be processed to provide the functions you request. Synthetic Markets does not need your Deriv password.

Bot files and browser storage

Strategy settings, interface preferences, language choices, and saved bot data may be stored in your browser or in files you download. You can clear browser storage through your browser settings. If you use an optional third-party storage integration, that provider's privacy terms also apply.

Technical and analytics data

Hosting, security, and analytics services may process IP addresses, browser and device information, timestamps, requested URLs, errors, and usage events. This information helps deliver the service, diagnose faults, protect the platform, and understand aggregate usage.

Service providers

Data may be processed by providers required to operate features you choose, including Deriv for broker services, Vercel for application hosting, and Google services for analytics or embedded content. Links to Telegram, YouTube, Google Drive, and other external services take you to platforms governed by their own notices.

Retention and security

OAuth sessions expire and may be cleared by logging out. Browser data remains until it is cleared or replaced. Infrastructure providers may retain technical logs according to their operational and legal requirements. We use reasonable technical safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
